Keeping Electric Fence False Alarms to a Minimum

When you have installed an electric fence in your home, it is wise to make sure that it does not cause false alarms. False alarms can become a problem in the long run. The highest cause of electric fence false alarms is caused mostly by pets or the low maintenance of the electric fence. So it is up to you as the owner to make sure that anything that might trigger a false alarm is out of the way. False alarms can happen with most alarm and security systems. They can happen with:
  • Electric fences
  • Electric fence palisade
  • Sensor systems
Keeping false alarms to a minimum can and should be done. By removing all the things that might cause the false alert, you can save yourself the trouble of dealing with angry neighbours. There are a few things that might cause false alarms:
  • Pets
  • Vegetation
  • The rain
  • Wear & tear
  • Low maintenance
By controlling your pets and servicing your electric fence, you can avoid false alarms. An electric fence is an important part of your homes safety, so making sure that false alarms do not happen is wise. Because an electric fence is so important for the safety of your home, regular false alarms should be avoided. They could cause the security companies not come, when it is a real alarm.

Most people think they do not have to maintain or service their electric fences, when in fact they do. Servicing your fence could save you a lot of money and stress in the long run. Its all about control and being careful with the fence. And regular servicing!!!!!
